Random Thoughts, Mostly Regarding Tumblr

pureeggI finished a Christmas gift, so I should start posting fairly regularly. The outline for Illuminating Eve is going well, might be able to start writing the first chapter soon! And tumblr... oh, tumblr...
I checked back and, goodness, it's a mess. I'm not seeing nearly as many people as I used to, but I don't know if that's direct purging, people just up and leaving, or hey, maybe it's because the site has gotten so slow that I can barely even scroll!
Maybe I've just become hyper-aware of it after using DreamWidth (beautiful, beautiful lagless DreamWidth), but Tumblr has always been slow. It's always stopped and sputtered after I scrolled too far, and yet... it's been taking so long that I thought for (I wasn't timing but it felt like) ten minutes before my icon loaded. I thought my blog got purged! And images have only been loading halfway.
Taking a look at my adblocker, it's hiding eighty-three elements, so either my adblocker is trigger-happy or tumblr's really doubling down on those ads.
